On April 13, 2022, experts in the field of energy, smart metering, photovoltaics as well as financing of projects focused on these topics presented their professional lectures on a very current topic "HOW NEXT (ECO) WITH ENERGY IN REGIONAL SELF-GOVERNMENT?" at the 5th Slovak Smart City Cluster Conference.

On behalf of company SFÉRA, a.s., our sales and marketing director Ing. Peter Chochol, PhD. presented and clarified the changes resulting from the new European and national energy and regulatory legislation from the perspective of end customers, such as municipalities, cities and higher territorial units. He explained in an understandable way the possibilities of their active involvement in the process of increasing energy efficiency as active customers or as part of energy communities by integrating renewable energy sources and storage with the use of new flexibility aggregation services. He introduced other ways in which these customers can sustainably reduce energy consumption, costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
