The company began its operations in 1992 and during this period provided its services not only for the Slovak, but also the Czech, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Austrian markets. The Quality Management System implemented in the company sféra, a.s.  in 2002 is fully in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015

GIS and TIS

Integral part of our logo is "Graphic Information Systems". This heading stands for reason: we emphasise computer graphics in all our solutions - first of all graphic communication which is the most natural and friendliest for its users. Our partnership and close cooperation with Bentley Systems, a renowned U.S. company, is of a strategic importance, as it offers progressive, worldwide recognized and globally used graphic products and environment. The same applies to our relations with Oracle, leader in cutting edge database technology. GIS is usually understood as "Geographic Information Systems", i.e. information systems for which geographic position of objects - whether in space, in territory, or on maps - is a dominant information enabling to work with maps, scales, projections, positions, distances, areas and routes. Our graphic solutions are broader, but of course they include these aspects using the GIS environment of our partner Bentley Systems - MicroStation GeoGraphics. Our Department of Cartography has proven expertise in all phases of preparation and production a high quality professional cartographic products and maps for foreign clients. Therefore, if requested by a client, we are capable to improve implementation of information software by our own map for the GIS solution. In practice of sféra, a.s., features of GIS are integral part of our broader designed "Technical Information Systems" - TIS.
